Jenna Bunker, Sydney Airport Car Parking

Jenna Buckner is an international marketing specialist with over 20 years experience building brands, launching new products and driving ROI through integrated media campaigns. With an in-depth understanding of the travel and transportation industries gained through management positions at Disneyland, Parking Company of America Airports (the largest off-airport parking provider in the USA) and other mid-size businesses, Jenna has focused on creating innovative technology platforms to drive sales and build lifetime customer value. She has led the development of numerous websites, is an expert in SEO and SEM, and has created user interfaces for online applications and electronic consumer products. Currently Jenna holds the position of GM, Parking & Ground Transport at Sydney Airport.

Stephen Butt, Taxi Council of Australia

Taxi Council of Australia Stephen Butt joined the NSW Taxi Council as the Assistant Executive Officer having in September 2008 having spent the past 5 years managing Ground Transport at Sydney Airport. Amongst his other duties, Stephen was instrumental in many new taxi initiatives at Sydney Airport and was responsible for the improvement in conditions and infrastructure for taxi drivers. Stephen was responsible for the automation of many manual taxi systems such as toll payments and short fares. Prior to joining Sydney Airport, Stephen previously served 25 years in the Royal Australian Navy serving in Her Majesties Australian Ships Hobart, Perth, Derwent, Stuart, Manoora and also served in many United States and Australian Navy ships in Iraq and Afghanistan. Stephen was awarded the Conspicuous Service Medal (CSM) in the Australia Day Honors in 1999 and received many commendations for meritorious service in both Australian and United States units, was also awarded sailor of the year in 1997 and 1998. Stephen retired as a Warrant Officer in October 2003 after a long and successful career. Stephen hopes to continue to improve conditions of service for the taxi industry and is particularly interested in industry standards including training and providing high levels of customer satisfaction.

Lee Fathers, Wilson Technology Solutions

My background prior to Wilson was 10 years in the consumer electronics field.
I have been in the sales field my entire working career starting in retail with IT resellers.
I held several external senior sales roles with companies such as JVC, Bosch & Nikon.
I held a State Mangers role with Bosch Household Appliances dealing with major retailers such as Harvey Norman.
I have been with Wilson Technology Solutions (WTS) for just over 2 years.
I was responsible for opening the WTS branch in Queensland and for recruiting the additional support team now in place.

Greg Fordham, AirBiz

Greg Fordham is Managing Director of Airbiz with more than 25 years experience as a consultant to the aviation industry. He is acknowledged as an authority on airport master planning and airport terminal developments. Greg has developed a team of consultants that have undertaken over 2000 projects and studies in 40 countries, on 5 continents. Through his involvement in a wide range of commercially based projects, Greg has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of airport economics and strategic planning issues. Greg is a board member of both ACI Pacific Region and ACI World Business Partners. He has lectured at Loughborough University and is a member of the Advisory Board for the aviation courses at Swinburne University.

Glen Holdsworth, TTM Group

Glen is the Managing Director of the TTM Group of Companies which includes the TTM Traffic Engineering and TTM Equipment company groups. The company Group provides professional transport planning, traffic engineering, data collection and acoustics services and supplies, installs and maintains a wide range of traffic and parking control equipment. TTM has experience across all these professional and technical sectors in respect to planning and management of transport, traffic and parking at airports. The TTM Group has also been extensively involved in developing and implementing transport management plans for major events and sport venues, including having planned and supervised transport and traffic management arrangements for the recent Townsville V8Supercar event.

Tricia Kat, Changi Airports International

Tricia Kat is a consultant with Changi Airports International with close to 10 years of experience in Singapore Changi Airport. Her specialty is in the areas of airport service quality, customer service and performance standards. She has hands-on experience in ensuring that Changi Airport constantly remains the best in class. Tricia also brings along her wealth of experience in the provision of consultancy services to overseas airports in her areas of expertise. She has also been involved in management and on-site implementation contracts in which best practices in airport service quality have been “tried and tested” at client airports. Tricia’s overseas airport experience covers the Middle East, Africa, South America and China. She has worked closely with ACI in its ASQ programmes.

Shanna Livingtsone, Barry & Nilsson Lawyers

Shanna Livingstone is a Senior Associate in the Commercial and Property Group at Barry & Nilsson Lawyers. Since admission in 2006 Shanna's work has focussed on commercial and property matters for the Group's Airport and shopping centre clients. She is currently responsible for leasing work associated with the major terminal redevelopment at Gold Coast Airport. While studying, Shanna worked in centre management for one of Queensland's largest regional shopping centres. This experience at the coalface of the 'landlord and tenant' relationship gives her an excellent appreciation of the issues facing clients' businesses, enabling her to offer proactive and practical advice to clients.

Cristina Lynn, Car Parking Consultants

Cristina Lynn is the Managing Partner of Parking Consultants International (PCI), an independent specialist consultancy with almost 30 years' experience in car park design, planning and performance monitoring. She has a Business Degree and is a Chartered Accountant with many years experience in auditing, finance, management and marketing. During her years with PCI she has acquired extensive experience in the areas of parking demand, feasibility studies and car park management. Together with the PCI team, Cristina provides services to airports in Australia and New Zealand including concept designs and design reviews, equipment specification and tendering, audits, pricing strategies and feasibility studies.

Cristina is the Treasurer of the Parking Association of Australia and is the Chair of the organising committee for the next PAA conference to be held in Sydney in November 2010.

Paul McIlvride, Sabar Technologies Pty Ltd

Paul is the Owner and Managing Director of the SABAR Group of Companies. A qualified Certified Practising Accountant, Paul commenced his professional career in a Chartered Accounting Practice and following qualification moved to the commercial world with positions in Sydney, Papua New Guinea and Fiji both in the private sector and Government. In 1989 he returned to Australia as a Management Consultant with Coopers & Lybrand and commenced his involvement with the Parking Industry as the Chief Executive of the Adams Group of Companies based in Hong Kong. In 1994 he purchased the business of SABAR and has been developing the market for DESIGNA Car Park Management and Control Systems since mid 1998. The Head Office of SABAR is now located in Adelaide. A dedicated Parking Industry professional, Paul has extensive experience and expertise as a Car Park Owner, Operator, Equipment Supplier and Consultant. SABAR Technologies Pty Ltd, the Equipment Supply and Service provision Company within the SABAR Group of Companies, has DESIGNA Car Park Management and Control System installations at Cairns Airport, Townsville Airport, Mackay Airport, Fraser Coast Airport, Gold Coast Airport, Port Macquarie Airport and Adelaide Airport.

Clive Nichol, Barry & Nilsson Lawyers

Clive Nichol is the lead partner of Barry & Nilsson's Commercial and Property Group and has extensive experience in property and commercial matters associated with airports. Clive has acted for Gold Coast Airport since 1999, since when his Airport practice has grown to a stage where (particularly with the expansion of QAL) Clive and his team now provide legal services to 7 airports. George Proos, Avis Australia

Managing Director and Vice President of Avis Australia & Pacific and Budget Rent a Car Asia/Pacific, George has been in his current role for the past 10 years and prior to that held senior roles with Avis in the US, Canada and Asia/Pacific region. George has been involved with the rental car industry at airports for the past 34 years and he has also served as a Director of the Tourism and Transport Forum from Dec 2001 until Dec 2007.

Stephen Pyne, Qld Police Services

Stephen is an Inspector of Police with 27 years of policing experience both at the operational and corporate level. He is presently attached to the Townsville Police District in the role of Major Events and Strategic Planning and is also the Regional Counter-Terrorism Liaison Officer Inspector Pyne has also served 2 years with the Counter-Terrorism Strategic Policy Branch of the Queensland Police Service. That role involved strengthening counter-terrorism arrangements through the development and implementation of pro-active counter-terrorism initiatives and strategies and the provision of timely and quality advice, support, training and exercises on counter-terrorism issues.

Justin Smith, Justin Smith Retail Consultancy Services

Justin has dedicated the last 35 years to the catering and hospitality industry specializing in retail food and beverage services in Airport Terminals in Australia and New Zealand.

Isabelle Yates, Queensland Airports Limited

With over five years experience in travel and tourism, Isabelle joined Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) in May 2007. In her role as Marketing Executive, Isabelle’s core responsibility is to maintain current capacity and increase passenger movements through both Townsville and Mount Isa Airports. Isabelle was recently relocated to Townsville from QAL’s Gold Coast office. Isabelle has completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries and is currently working towards a Masters in Marketing. She was recently recognised by the region’s tourism industry by being awarded the Outstanding Contribution by a Young Achiever at the 2009 North Queensland Tourism Awards.
