Imagine an urban environment where everyone either lives near beautiful beaches, hiking trails, holiday islands, green hills, bush and farmland, stunning waterfalls, hot mineral pools – the list goes on. This is New Zealand.

The North Island of New Zealand provides a mix of modern and vibrant city’s and a region of lush green hills, bush and farmland; Auckland is within easy reach of Waiheke Island with its fabulous beaches, Pacific Rim dining and wineries. The Waikato is a region of lush green hills, bush and farmland, with exceptional surf on the West coast. The beautiful Waikato River carves through these landscapes, and intersects the region's center, Hamilton city.

The South Island is home of year round marine wildlife watching. Swim with the Seals at Kaikoura, take a dip with the world's most endangered dolphin at Akaroa. Visit the wildlife capital – Dunedin, and in Wellington November is peak whale-spotting time.

Things To Do
Auckland
Auckland is surrounded by 48 dormant volcanic cones, all of which have erupted in the last 150,000 years. Visit one of the most prominent ones, Mt Eden near the central city, which boasts a vast crater and magnificent 360 degree views.

Waikato / Hamilton
Hamilton, in the center of the Waikato region, is a city of spectacular parks and gardens, fine cuisine and cafés, culture and attractions. Head underground into a surreal world adorned with stalactites and stalagmites - millions of years in the making at Waitomo Caves.

Wellington
The capital city of New Zealand, Wellington, is only two kilometers wide so can easily be explored on foot. A fabulous attraction of Wellington is seeing the whales return to Wellington harbour, after an absence of over a hundred years. November is peak whale-spotting time.

Dunedin
Regarded as the wildlife capital of New Zealand, Dunedin's Otago Peninsula is renowned for hosting the world's only mainland breeding colony of the northern royal albatross, and being home to the world's rarest penguin, the Yellow-Eyed, as well as various species of seals, sea lions and pelagic birds.

Christchurch
Take a dip with the world's most endangered dolphin at Akaroa, or Swim with the Seals at Kaikoura. The South Island is home of year round marine wildlife watching.
