Environment

Townsville Airport is located within a region of rich biodiversity and natural beauty and we recognise the importance of managing our operations with care and responsibility. As the Airport Lessee of the civil area of the airport, we are committed to the responsible environmental management of the airport, including the careful assessment and mitigation of potential environmental impacts.

Our approach is guided by the Townsville Airport Environment Strategy, which is a key component of the airport’s Master Plan.
