PARKING INFRINGEMENTS

There are restrictions against parking or stopping outside designated parking or stopping areas across the Townsville Airport Precinct. This is in accordance with the Commonwealth consolidated regulations of the Airport (Control of On-Airport Activities) Regulations 1997.

Anyone who fails to comply with parking restrictions and instructions across Townsville  Airport, may be fined and issued with a Parking Infringement Notice (PIN).

All parking infringements issued at Townsville Airport are issued on behalf of the Australian Government, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities &Regional Development and Local Government, under the Commonwealth Airports (Control of On Airport Activities) Regulations 1997.

Townsville Airport gains no income from the collection of parking infringements for the Commonwealth.

If you wish to appeal a fine, request additional information or advise of an alternate driver of the vehicle that was infringed you can send an appeal in writing by completing the Parking Infringement Notice Waiver Application (PDF document).
